Offered is a fully licensed distinctive and collectible decorative figurine Laozi Laozi (or Lao Tzu) was a famous philosopher of ancient China, best known as the author of the Tao Te Ching. His association with the Tào Té Ching has led him to be traditionally considered the founder of philosophical Taoism. He is also revered as a deity in most religious forms of Taoist philosophy, which often refers to Laozi as Taishang Laojun, or "One of the Three Pure Ones". Beautifully cold cast in bronze reinforced with resin and then painstakingly hand finished this figurine measures 8" x 3 1/2" x 10 3/4" tall.
